To make the most use of the spaces in the Civic centre, the London Borough of Sutton hold their full Council meetings in the Atrium which provides plenty of space for members of the public attending meetings. The Beyer digital radio conference system was chosen because it enables the room to be set up and then cleared after the meeting in 10 minutes and the room is ready for other organisations to use. Plasma panels, projectors screens, public address and heard of hearing systems now provide members and the public alike with a professional presentation system.
