CONFERENCE AUDIO

Hampshire County Council

Hampshire County Council is a Grade II listed building and all cabling was carried out under the floor to produce a very discrete installation. All of the audio is relayed to the Public Gallery and hard of hearing systems and there are radio microphones for officers’ presentations.
North Shropshire District Council

North Shropshire District Council in Wem has a 42 delegate Philips Digital System, complete with three loop systems for the hard of hearing. The audio is connected to the digital data projector and two radio microphones provide freedom of movement for the officers when giving presentations.
Blaby District Council

Blaby District Council in Leicestershire has a 38 Delegate Philips system that is completely mobile. All of the delegates units and system controller pack into four cases and the room can be cleared completely.
Manchester City Council

The Grade II (Star) listed Manchester City Council Chamber where Sound Advice have installed a 161 delegate Philips digital conference system and hard of hearing loop induction systems.
Adur District Council

Adur District Council’s newly refurbished chamber has lots of acoustically absorbent surfaces and therefore sound does not travel.

To enable Councillors to hear clearly, Sound Advice has installed a Philips Digital Conference System with one delegates unit shared between two delegates. Officers use a radio microphone for presentations and the proceedings are relayed to the public seating via a public address system and a loop induction system for the hard of hearing.
Warrington District Council

Sound Advice installed a 32 delegate Beyer Radio conference system along with infrared hard of hearing and a public address. There is a connection to the foyer and committee rooms for larger meetings and the radio microphones supplied can be used for the council meetings or on their own for other functions via the PA.
